A Coup to Touchet
Monday, October 15, 2007Last Thursday I was fortunate enough to have time to visit my favorite art venue in Baltimore, Touchet Gallery. If you haven't been there before, I recommend going to the opening in November for Jordan Eagles. His blood in resin works are amazing. But I digress... The ladies of the gallery, Patti and Kim, were amazing enough to talk to me about my work and other artists' works. They showed me the work of a Baltimore artist, which inspired me to be completely crazy. I started drawing on paper that I'd been too nervous to start on. The work looks pretty childish, but it was nice to be free. I'm going to continue working on the whole roll of the piece.
