The Garaj!

As promised (but a day late, I have photos of my new studio.  The lady who's renting it to me calls it "The Garaj!".  I guess, well, because it looks like a garage and it has another meaning the way it's spelled in Hindu or Urdu or something like that.  There's a large garage door that opens for large work, two stories, and a lot of space!  

I've gotten a lot of work done already in the half week I've been there.  I've completed an abstract line piece, and on the topic of promises, I'm working on an impressionistic piece that I told my grandmother I'd do for her.  Our deal is that I do two and put them out there for people to see.  Representation isn't exactly my favorite thing to do, but she's one person I'd do it for. I'm guessing she thinks people will respond better to that type of work.  She's probably right.  The real trick is for me to repond positively to the work since I tend to not care if I sellwork  or not. :c)  Here's what I've started on:
