Radius 250 tonight and The Big Art Show tomorrow!

I just wanted to remind you all of the shows tonight and tomorrow night.

Here's the info:

IN RICHMOND:

Opening: Friday, April 27th 7-10pm

Curated by Ragan Cole-Cunningham, Director of Exhibitions and Education at the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia

The show lasts through June 17th if you can’t make it.

IN DC:

The Big Art Show Rock and Roll Hotel 1353 H. St. NE Washington, DC bigartshow.com

 

Doors open at 7pm Saturday, April 28th - $5 all ages. Live music! This is a one day event.

Also, don’t forget that Artomatic is still going on in Crystal City. My room is 6B44. There’s a ton of fabulous work by over 400 artists to check out!

i saw your paintings at the big art show in dc and i really enjoy them. i displayed some of my artwork as well- the slaughterhouse paintings. i was wondering where you find influence from? they remind me a lot of cy twombly's work. he's one of my favorites.

Hi Rose,

 

I'm so glad you liked my work!  I am influences by the abstract expressionists.  Cy Twombly is a big influence on me.  Lately, I've been a huge Joan Mitchell fan.
